Spanish and foreign nationals who cared for the welfare of animals created the association of SOS Animal 1995 on Mallorca. The cruelty, neglect and the lack of understanding with regard to domestic animals created the cause for the establishment of such an association. We are a growing team of enthusiastic dedicated Lions made up of a healthy mix of very experienced Lions and new, keen Lion Cubs! We are lucky enough to live on the magnificent island of Mallorca but it is a complete eyeopener to see the human suffering that exists on our beautiful paradise. We do our best to try and help those that are suffering. We have a number of exciting projects and are looking for volunteers who can assist us in both developing the existing projects and developing new ones. - We currently meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month and each alternate meeting is concluded with a pleasant lunch. - We do try and mix some fun with trying to help the community! - Please come and join us and feel free to call our President - Chris Waters on +34 618 321 991.

Our accommodation IS an unexpected oasis of tranquillity, of spirituality (the religious celebrations and choir), of artistic heritage (the Museum), of unspoilt countryside (the Tramuntana mountains and the Botanic Garden), and of Mallorcan cuisine (in our restaurants).
