Fire Retardant Treatment

Your yacht, guests and crew could be at risk if you haven’t taken the correct precautions. The flame retardant we apply to protect your vessel is “Emalfon i” from Flame Screen Ltd. It is approved for use on Large Yachts in accordance with MCA Marine Guidance Note MGN453(M) by BTTG Testing & Certification Ltd Certificate No:· 53/00047. ·“Emalfon i” has undergone rigorous testing in MCA nominated approved IMO Flame Test laboratories and passed the most stringent relevant· IMO· FTP code tests and is, of course, accepted by all Major Flags. Due to the complexities involved, flame-proofing aboard should only be carried out by experienced Licensed Professional Applicators, after application Inter-Nett working as a Licensed Agent will supply full certification from Flame Screen Ltd to the required MCA MGN453(M) standards as proof of treatment, conformity and validity.

We use a cleaning process which is safe, hygienic and can refresh, deodorise and sanitise your mattresses.
Dust-mites are microscopic parasites which feed on dead skin cells and other debris. Their excrement can lead to real health issues and even breathing related problems.
Bedbugs are becoming a real modern day nightmare and initial infestations tend to be around beds, but the bugscan also spread to adjacent rooms. They prefer fabric, wood or paper surfaces and can be found in seams and folds of mattresses, later spreading to crevices in the bedstead.
We can arrange for an expert to do an on board inspection to assess the condition of your mattresses and treat them accordingly. We can also make sure your mattresses are regularly cleaned and refreshed.

Fire and Flood Restoration

What
The aftermath of a fire can be devastating and the clean-up has it’s own set of complications. It’s not just the obvious visual damage that occurs during a fire but the often unseen damage and the lingering smells which can be present for months afterwards.
Why
Following a fire on-board the following procedure should be aplied by professionals who understand fabrics and their reaction to water and chemicals. The cleaning of smoke contaminated areas is a lengthy process and is carried out using specialist odour neutralisers and a fogging unit.
When
After everything has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised a special neutraliser is used together with the fogging unit. Cabin by cabin, each area is treated and left sealed for 24 hours for the product to do it’s work. Each area is then fresh air ventilated and a final clean is then undertaken.
Where
This treatment is carried out in each area or cabin where smoke ingress has taken place. Often doors have been left open to ventilate an area with the result that the odours have travelled the length of the vessel necessitating a complete treatment on-board.
